Message from the Editor-in-Chief

Through collaboration between the Japan Society for Reproductive Medicine (JSRM) and other academic societies, Reproductive Medicine and Biology (RMB) has developed into an international journal that publishes papers on both clinical and basic research. RMB notably serves as a single platform for the accumulation of findings from both clinically significant research and academically significant basic research. We hope to take a step further to not only publish these at one go but also actively disseminate findings from translational studies, further strengthening RMB's role as a journal that bridges basic research and clinical application.

To do so, it is important that we facilitate the generation of insights that contribute to clinical settings as well as further improving the academic quality of basic research. Our aim is to allow RMB to facilitate mutual understanding and collaboration between basic researchers and clinicians and become a platform that contributes to the advancement of the entire field of reproductive medicine.

RMB's worth is maintained and improved by receiving high-quality academic papers and by the rigorous and constructive peer review process to publish them. RMB has an established reputation but to further develop it, in addition to academic paper submission, your active cooperation in our peer review process is essential. We would like to ask our members to not only continue submitting papers on outstanding research outcomes but also understand and support fair and high-quality peer review.

All members of the Editorial Board will do their best so that RMB further develops as an internationally competitive academic journal in reproductive medicine and biology and becomes an important hub for knowledge dissemination from Asia. Thank you for your continued support.
